3 The Origin of the company C-TEC: Foundation in 1994 Commercial basis: development of Pipeline Crawlers In 1995 the first C-TEC Crawler was sold to SGS (after nearly one year of fulltime development) Frequent enquiries of customers made C-TEC extend their product range and range of services to react fast on the demands of the international NDT market - now there are: Pipeline Crawlers, Column Scanners, X-Ray Sets of any kind, Ultrasonic Sets and Equipment, Protective Screen Measures (xray protection), Hardness Gauges, Field Gauges, Ultraviolet Equipment, Tank Floor Testers (TFTs) etc. Repair, Inspection and Calibration are carried out mainly in the own workshop Actually the whole range of NDT products is covered!
