1 Exercise (Part XI) Notes: The exercise is based on Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online. For all screenshots: Copyright Microsoft Corporation. The sign ## is you personal number to be used in all exercises. All exercises should be done in ascending order because some exercises require previous tasks to be finished. 2 69) Create a subject tree with the following data: Subject: Products-## Child Subjects: History Books-##, Literature-## Open Settings, then Business Management, select Subject, and click Add a Subject: Enter Subject information: Add other Subjects to the structure: Kath. 3 70) Assign subject History Books-## created in ex.69 to KB article Product History Books - ## created in ex.33 (you need to unpublish the article first, make modifications, then approve the article) and to support case created in ex.31. Navigate to the article (Service -> Articles) and open it by clicking on its number: Unpublish the article: Enter the subject information and publish the article again: Kath. 5 71) Define your working hours: Monday-Friday, from 8:00 till 17:00 with a break from 12:00 till 12:30. Open Settings, then Administration, select Users, and click on the User s Full Name to open it: Navigate to Work Hours, click Set Up, and select New Weekly Schedule: Kath. 8 73) Create new facilities Meeting Room-## and Presenting Room-## on site Building-## created in ex.72. Open Settings, then Business Management, select Facilities/Equipment, and click New: Enter the facility information and save it: Kath. Universität Eichstätt-Ingolstadt 8

9 Repeat for the other facility. 74) Create a resource group: Name: Group-## Business Unit: kueichstaett Resources: facilities Meeting Room-## and Presenting Room-## (ex.73) Open Settings, then Business Management, select Resource Groups, and click New: Enter the resource group information and save it: Kath. 10 Navigate to Resources and add the facilities needed: 75) Create the following Services: Service 1: Name: Meeting-## Default Duration: 3 Hours Resources: Group-## (ex.74), choose 1 from the same site. Service 2: Name: Presentation-## Default Duration: 7 Hours Resources: Group-## (ex.74), choose 1 from the same site. Open Settings, then Business Management, select Services, and click New: Kath. 13 Repeat for the other service activity. 77) In Service Calendar check the schedule for for Meeting Room-## and see if there are any conflicts. Resolve the conflict by rescheduling one of the meetings. Navigate to Service Calendar in Service, click conflicts, and then navigate to the date and facility to check if there are any conflicts: Click Reschedule to reschedule one of the activities to resolve the conflict: Kath. 14 78) Create a dialog Dialog-## as on demand process with the following logic for updating the lead: Page 1: Question: What is your first name? Response: Single Line, Text Question: What industry are you in? Response: Option Set (picklist), Integer Values: Accounting (Value 1), Consulting (Value 7), Insurance (Value 20) Update Lead with First Name and Industry information. 16 Record the responses for prompts and use them to update the lead: 79) Activate and test the dialog created in ex.78. Activate the dialog, create a new lead, and start the dialog for this lead: Kath. Universität Eichstätt-Ingolstadt 16
